Deep Learning Researcher / Engineer

Inspekto is looking for an enthusiastic and creative algorithm developer. 


We are taking on very challenging machine-learning tasks - from controlling physical cameras and illuminations, to universal single-shot detectors and accurate 3D homography alignments, to truly unique meta-learners.

We work with top industrial clients who need our product and therefore you will get a chance to make immediate impact. You will join professional, resourceful and fun teams of algo engineers and software engineers, and you will have a team of data annotators to make sure you will have more time to produce rather than cleanse. 

Inspekto’s autonomous machine vision technology is simplifying industrial production by converting the long and expensive process of integrating machine vision projects into immediate and easy to deploy generic products, thus enabling manufacturers to gain full control of their production line and the independence to adapt to different processes and needs. Inspekto’s leading product is the S70 - the first autonomous machine vision product - a fully-contained camera system powered by artificial-intelligence which self-adjusts the camera, self-detects the item under device and inspects for defects without any expert configuration required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, design, and implement supervised and unsupervised ML/DL algorithms
  • Bring creative ideas for innovative computer vision algorithms
  • Performs coding, configuration, and deployment at production level (meets a high standard, scalable and robust)
  • Conduct statistical analysis to understand the data and verify algorithms performances

Job Requirements

  • At least MSc degree in EE/computer science/mathematics/physics or equivalent field from a leading university, or otherwise very impressive achievements creating smart systems based on artificial intelligence
  • At least 2 years’ experience developing groundbreaking algorithm creation
  • Experience reading and integrating academic research work into production
  • Experience in C++/Python/MATLAB languages
  • Experience with Deep Learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, Pytorch or equivalent
  • Experience and understanding in classic machine-learning: classification, detection, ensemble methods, neural-networks, training-pipelines
  • Experience and understanding in classic computer vision tasks (e.g. image processing, projection, segmentation) and libraries (e.g. OpenCV)
  • Experience with Object Oriented Design and implementation
  • Thinking out of the box and problem solver

Senior Backend Developer

What will you be doing?

  • Take ownership over company's core software modules
  • Design and develop components independently, dealing with architectural issues
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to enhance our product and features
  • Help with the system integration to external hardware (PLCs, Cobots, etc)
  • Research and utilize new technologies used in our systems

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of backend software development experience
  • Experience in Python or equivalent
  • Experience solving issues in multi-process, multi-threaded, resource limited environments
  • Experience working with Docker, MongoDB, AWS stack - an advantage
  • Highly motivated team player with the ability to work independently
  • Excited about working in a startup environment

Marketing Communications Manager

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for executing the marketing communication plan of the company in all communication channels, from web to print, through to social media and PR in order to achieve business goals.

They will be responsible to maintain the company’s brand identity and will help in lead generation activities and in positioning the company as a vendor of choice for its prospects.

The candidate must be organised, customer facing, analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule and able to handle multiple priorities.


Drive execution of all marketing activities directly or through service providers.

Activities include:

  • Events and webinars
  • Creation of sales tools such as brochures, use cases, videos etc.
  • Social media engagement
  • Funnel nurturing activities – mailers, campaigns, forms sync to CRM, etc.
  • Advertising campaigns
  • PR activities with different PR agencies

The candidate will also have ongoing control of marketing budget and will be responsible for lead generation activities including:

  • Maintaining and developing nurturing workflows, scoring etc.
  • Generating variety of campaigns, such as mailers, pop ups and landing pages

They will also be responsible for the digital assets of the company, including the website and social media accounts.

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing communications role
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Understands technologies and demonstrates ability to translate technology and features into benefits and customer oriented tools
  • Ability to interact with variety of people with different backgrounds such as R&D teams, designers, PR agencies, sales people
  • High proficiency in English (preferably English mother tongue)
  • Experience in working with marketing automation tools and CRM tools (preferably Hubspot & NetSuite)
  • Experience in working with different online and social media enhancement and measurement tools such as Google Analytics and Hootsuite

Preferred but not required

  • Academic degree in communication/marketing/business or equivalent
  • German as a second language
  • Prior use of design software such as Illustrator and Photoshop and video editing tools
